Pop art

Description:

We have been learning about pop art with Kate. Pop art is when you have for things and they all have different pops of colour. you can also do word pop art too. Famous artist that make pop art are Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, and David Hockney.

Big Idea

We had to make a stencil the cut it out then with a ruler split the paper in to 1/4 and the put all the stencils on. We then had to paint and outline with vivid. I chose a music note because I am really passionate about music.

We were meant to use bright colours that pop thats why its called pop art.

Feedback/feedforward:

I think that Serena did well at painting simple and something she could do. Next time she could be more creative with the colours.

Evaluation:

I think I used a good variety of colours that pop. But I think that I could have made it all look the same.

Production sample

Description: Every Friday we plan and make our wearable arts for production we got to chose out of the groups the first one we went to was out of Africa with Kate the second one was elements with Troy and the last one was superheroes with Rebecca. I thought that I would do out of Africa im doing a giraffe costume here's a plan.

My art

W.A.L.T . Use colour effectively. This is my art I did with my teacher Ebony. It is a colourful background with a picture of me in the middle. First we had to get a black and white piece of paper then we had to colour our background with pastels. Then you get a friend to take a photo of you doing a pose then print it and on stick the black piece of paper on the back of your picture then cut the out the picture of you out and stick it on. That is all you have to do.
